We linked up with Alexander Spit in Los Angles to fire some questions at him, and get a #rare live performance. I shot this last year and completely forgot about it until I downloaded Spit’s newest project ‘Mansions 2′ and found the footage on my harddrive. WATCH

“In an editorial I wrote recently on the status of the New New York scene, I noted Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire possibly one of the few MCs who could render my thesis of “no classic albums” void, but it would take time. It felt important to leave his career arc up to question for two reasons. One: He’s only two, possibly three songs deep in his major label debut after inking the deal in 2012. Two: He’d recently begun discussing his music in a manner that suggests he cares not only about his craft, but how the public perceives it. Zach Hill X Carson McWhirter “Fave Tat” Live Session

Hi so a bunch of people have been requesting this video be uploaded to YouTube. Long story short some random dude put it on YT years ago and it must have triggered copyright violation and been taken down or something since the live audio from this session was used as the actual track on the album. This was the first Terroreyes session EVER and back in those days I used to label videos horribly and simply have them in folders named things like “Stuff” or “Videos” making them all impossible to find now but I did some digging and finally found the original video file (It was aptly named “Shredding.mov”) which is sort of cool because I thought I had lost it forever. Organization is a great skill to have, I wish I had it… Anyway, for those of you interested, here it is, ‘Face Tat’ on Youtube.
